Fares Boulos

Affiliated Professor of Practice in Strategy

Fares Boulos is Affiliated Professor of Practice in Strategy at INSEAD and Adjunct Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. In 2007-2008, Fares held the Kermit O. Hanson Visiting Professor appointment at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington (at Seattle) Business School.

Fares teaches the Core Strategy course in the MBA and Global Executive MBA programs at INSEAD and he’s the Program Director of various executive development programs.

In 2009, Fares received the Dean’s Commendation for Excellence in MBA Teaching for his teaching of the Core Strategy course at INSEAD. In 2005 he taught the 1st year MBA core Competitive Strategy course at the University of Washington, where he won the Professor of the Quarter award for best teaching, an award he won again in the spring 2008 quarter for his teaching of the Global Strategic Management course.

Fares serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at Rotman and is Vice Chair of the Vancouver Community College Foundation Board. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Paperny Films, a Vancouver-based non-fiction film production company.

Prior to joining INSEAD, Fares held several senior positions in the investment industry in Canada over a 15-year career., including Director of Research for Wood Gundy, one of Canada’s major investment dealers, now part of CIBC, and Portfolio Manager for Jarislowsky Fraser, Canada’s biggest independent investment counselling firm. Before entering the investment world, Fares spent five years as a senior consultant with The Canada Consulting Group, a strategy-consulting firm that has since merged with The Boston Consulting Group.

Fares holds an MBA and B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Writing for Film, Television & New Media from the Vancouver Film School.

Christian Lundgren, Partner Kromann Reumert

 

Over the years, Christian has advised clients on several ground-breaking and trend-setting capital markets- and M&A transactions in Denmark. These types of transactions are often "once in a lifetime transactions" for the business and its management and, thus, the involvement of expirienced advisers who understand the client's requirements, the counterparty's expectations, and the market is crucial. The core of Christian's advice is a combination of thorough legal knowledge, insight into Danish and international market practice, and the ability to harmonise these elements within the context of commercial requirements.  

 

Christian has advised on a number of cases which have decisively influenced company and capital markets regulation in Denmark. Christian is one of the few Danish lawyers with experience in capital markets law who act for client's in public authorities' administration of rules and prosecution of alleged violations.

Jan Peter Larsen, Partner Deloitte


Specialized in accounting, but previous experience obtained in the fields of auditing and counseling of listed companies, com-panies in large international corporations as well as small and medium sized businesses.

Special Qualifications
Specialist in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Danish accounting law.

Partner in Deloitte’s department of auditing and accounting affairs as well as leader of Deloitte’s Danish IFRS Centre of Excellence.

Have for more than 14 years worked with international and Danish accounting affairs, including participation in Deloitte’s international accountancy group Global IFRS Leadership Team (GILT) and membership of FSR’s Technical Accountancy Com-mittee.

Have after specializing accumulated significant experience with IFRS-related issues through continuous involvement in and IFRS sparring with government-owned stock companies as well as public and private limited companies.

Professor i selskabsret Mette Neville er opvokset "i" en familievirksomhed, og har i en årrække forsket i Små og Mellemstore Virksomheders (SMV) forhold.


Hun holder foredrag og kurser om SMV' er og er initiativtager til kursusrækken "Små og mellemstore virksomheder - vejen til en sund virksomhed", som udbydes af Handelshøjskolen, Aarhus Universitet i Århus og København.


Mette Neville er desuden bl.a. næstformand i Fondsrådet, formand for Dansk Corporate Governance Netværk, og medlem af forskellige internationale netværk, f.eks. Nordisk Netværk for Selskabsret.

Helene Amsinck has been practising employment and labour law since 1994 and assists both domestic and international clients with all types of employment and labour law issues. Through her many years of work in the field of employment law, Helene has developed a profound insight into all the various aspects of the employer/employee relationship, which enables her to provide value-adding advice to clients.

Helene has extensive experience in all employee-related aspects of transactions and outsourcing projects, including the complex rules on the protection of employees in connection with transfers of undertakings, agreements on transitional services, changes to employment terms, subsequent harmonisation, etc. She also specialises in restructuring, collective redundancies and the legal and contractual rights of executive employees.

Bent Kemplar, Partner Kromann Reumert

 

Bent Kemplar advises primarily on mergers and acquisitions, commercial and company law, and stock exchange and capital market law. In connection with mergers and acquisitions, Bent advises Danish and foreign commercial clients and private equity funds on the purchase and sale of businesses, including in relation to auctions, capital raising and stock exchange law. He provides advice both in private succession planning matters and in professional merger and acquisition transactions.

Furthermore, Bent advises on the reorganisation of companies and groups, mergers and demergers, and on corporate matters relating to articles of association, capital structure and shareholders. He also assists in general commercial matters, including in respect of business and trade relations.
